He's received hundreds of comments and a bunch of new friend adds.  We will see if these translate into votes, but by participating and opening himself up to a live forum he has gained more eyeballs than he ever would through traditional media.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Young people are definitely paying attention and participating in these dialouges, motivated by the opportunity to directly engage with the candidates. The production value of the shows and quality of the questions posed by the audience and moderators rivals that of the CNN/YouTube debates. Not only that, MTV/Space is arguably doing a better job of &lt;br&gt;I watched and participated in the MTV/MySpace Presidential Dialogue with Senator John McCain last night. McCain seemed to struggle a little in the beginning, adjusting to the instant feedback and direct questions from the audience, but he quickly caught on and provided a lot of insight into his priorities and thoughts on topics relevant to young people, as well as the entire country.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;You can watch the entire show (23 segments) here:&lt;br&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.mtv.com/overdrive/?id=1575664" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" title="http://www.mtv.com/overdrive/?id=1575664"&gt;http://www.mtv.com/overdriv...&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I'm not going to vote for him, but the difference between this election and the last few I've been able to vote in is that I've witnessed many of the candidates as "real" people, not hiding behind the iron curtain of tightly controlled press rhetoric and stale debates. I believe that a lot of the statements and campaign promises that all the candidates are making will no longer work as they have in the past.
