Why is there zero possibility that they would accept?
  • Jono · 2 years ago
    I'm pretty sure they'd accept...
  • Ashok · 2 years ago
Why would they accept? Zuckerberg knows that with an IPO he would get a market cap of around 10B.

I like the idea, Microsoft would benefit, but as you mentioned... I think this has absolutely zero chance of happening.

Facebook things it is worth more than that. They might take $10 billion though.

Think about it, Microsoft is no more evil than Google these days guys ... they both suck at this point. So, I have no idea why you think Google would have a better chance at buying them. Google, in my opinion, sucks more than Microsoft at this point because of the ridiculous amount of information they have on every person who ever touched the internet.

You people are nuts...$6 billion dollars...

What are we coming to, another bubble?
  • EJRaven · 2 years ago
Maybe we are coming to another bubble, but it's not even close to bursting like the last one. .I believe we will see this trend for a few more years before it stops.
  • mark · 2 years ago
Wow! They'll probably want more than that.

Well, i don't belive.. this is just rumor.. take a look at http://www.popfly.ms..
Microsoft was always developing great technologies and they always had a lot of money. but they miss carisma - something that apple always had. But this new windows presentatnion framework and .net are really great.. i guess best that MS has ever done!. At least this new tech will connect .net and UI, in some new ways.

I suggest u to watch new microsoft windows presentation framework video.. in future there will be no difference between web and win apps. Also, social and similar websites will change, a lot! So, who knows, facebook is cool. But, maybe tomorow u will have another platform. Much better.
