Be advised that once installed in firefox, this cannot be uninstalled in the normal way (ie via the add-ons dialogue box) as it doesn't show. I've mailed Vysr to ask for confirmation on how to remove, but am not impressed with this - it's obviously an engineered thing to retain users rather than a fault....

Their logo has always reminded me of a pair of underwear.

    Anyone else see that?

Chris, all extensions that are loaded by Firefox are listed in the AddOns list and this is done automatically by Firefox. Extension developers have no control over this. Vysr uses the standard recommended XPI packaging for Firefox to install which can be observed by looking at the install.rdf file in the XPI. Not sure why it is not being listed in your AddOns in your browser, we have never observed this anywhere else. Perhaps a restart of your web browser might restore your addons list. We will follow up with you to investigate.

This is a pretty neat tool. I love the fact that they use OpenSocial. The platform has come a long way since it was announced last year. It's becoming very stable and the developer community is growing quickly. I'm not too sure how this is better than simply going to Twitter or Flickr in a new browser tab though, but it does have its charm.
