It is refreshing to see one that is different !
Dr.David Black
www.blackchiropractic.com.au

Re: LimeLife Puts Women in the Limelight

I agree with Regina. Just looking at the header -- "celebs/fashion/beauty/movies/music/love/life/shopping" -- it looks like every generic "for women" website out there. All it needs is a section for cleaning products. It's great that Liz covers the election, but the rest of the site looks like every other women's ghetto on the Internet.

Re: LimeLife Puts Women in the Limelight

So essentially women over 34 are relegated to lame sites like iVillage? Sorry, I know some women like that site and others I can't think of right now, but come on, this isn't our mom's over 34++. I was excited to see the Limelife logo and it looked and sounded like a site that could speak to me. Then the age anvil was dropped into the text. As a borderline gen Xr, I reject such narrowcasting of women. Ugh, so frustrating.

Re: LimeLife Puts Women in the Limelight

Thanks for the kudos on the collage. We're excited to be launching LimeLife. We welcome all comments, compliments, and even constructive criticism about the site--that's how we get a beat on what women want. As the editor of the Life section, I'm passionate about the 2008 election and cover politics (the fun and the serious) daily. Have a read, enjoy, and we look forward to hearing from you!

Re: LimeLife Puts Women in the Limelight

Very interesting business model.
