Yeah, I know - I've been reading reports about this thing for months. That's why I said the "catâ€™s finally out of the bag" - the details of how the API works haven't been public until now.

The AdSense API is not a new thing. It's been around for at least six months and is in wide use by larger publishers like about.com.

I truly believe that the concept of revenue-sharing with the end-user or publisher will be create a huge dynamic shift in the near future. Too often, producers and publishers of good quality content are not compensated for their efforts. This shift will not only compensate them in a monetary sense, but may also lead to prominence and fame.
