any friend adder for mybuny.com ?
  • Mike · 2 years ago
I got fucked with this company they took my money by allowing me to buy the program for a period of time after I've purchased it and Now What?? What's there next plan???
  • MyspaceBug · 1 year ago
Yeah, I bought Badder Adder a few years ago. It worked fine for awhile, then about 1 year ago the version I had installed had reverted back to the demo version. When I tried to unlock it again with my registration code, it wouldn't let me.

Also, BadderAdder.com now redirects to OpenAdder.com Seems that the main marketer promoting badder adder, Michelle MacPhearson (who I believe helped develop Badder Adder) is now big on promoting Open Adder, which is an exact clone of Badder Adder. I have tried contacting Michelle and anyone involved with Badder Adder, but to no avail.I feel that, for everyone who purchased Badder Adder, we should be given the option of a refund or be given the full version of Open Adder free (since this obviously took over Badder Adder.) Any thoughts on this??

  • jamescoops · 3 years ago
There's definately a "fair use" approach to these tools. For example, a pub I know in my home town did a geographic friend sweep for people in that town, between 18-25 who liked "drum and bass" in order to promote a new night.

I also understand that a lot of the commercial myspace sites e.g. from big artists etc that get 100s of friend requests per day use bots like this to automate the adding process.

I know lots of people who have used these tools to good effect - as long as you're not spamming viagra or something and dont go completely over the top you can get away with it.
  • iest · 11 months ago
hey speaking of guitars, feel free to check out my myspace.
  • Jim Kukral · 3 years ago
I'm not sure I understand why you're writing about a company like this?

    1. It's more of a spammer tool than Web 2.0 company.

    2. It doesn't work. The strategy that is.

Successful guerilla marketing in Myspace is NOT adding friends and sending out bulletins. It simply does not work, and promoting a company that promotes that as a viable method doesn't make sense to me.

Myspace is all about building real relationships. It's actually a heck of a lot of hard work. There is no easy quick fix.

This site may have a nice design, but it's not a feasible strategy for anyone who seriously wants to tap into Myspace.
  • Andy · 3 years ago
BadderAdder is exactly what it's called...a 'badder' adder...not like pre-Neverland Michael Jackson 'bad'...just 'bad'...like 'this milk has gone bad'. Now, without just throwing out rhetoric, I'll expound. The program opens up and hosts it's own 'browser' view of your myspace page and doesn NOT encrypt your password when you add a MySpace account to the program (that should be enough for you to not continue reading my comments...or EVER consider using this product). THEN, you are limited to COMPLETELY RANDOM friend adding...i'll say that again...COMPLETELY RANDOM friend adding. If this program is geared towards promoters or 'marketing personalities' in MySpace, the LEAST once could expect is some control over demographic parameters for aggregating 'friends'. That's a big WOW! I'll say it again backwards...WOW! NOW, if you actually DO let yourself get past this indiscriminant, non-demo specific friend adding and let the BADadder work...you will learn that all it does is take over your mouse and start running the 'add friend' routine ONE-AT-A-TIME...watching this happen...learning that it happens this way with this product made me want to reach into my computer and slap the creator of this BadApp. I (or anyone) could physically click around myspace and searching for friends to add faster than this program works. Sure, you might not by-pass the 'accept' process. But you won't wind up friends with a 77 year old woman, a Camero, a Cat named Wiggles, and some 16 pimple-faced kid from North Carolina...with are the exact group of friends that BadAdder Added to my friends. I'm not trying to be a hater here...just trying to be your friend...and you know...That's What Friends Are For (I always thought that should be MySpace's theme song).

    That's what friends are for...
  • princesskagome23 · 2 years ago
hahahaha!!! i LOVED your comment andy! "But you won’t wind up friends with a 77 year old woman, a Camero, a Cat named Wiggles"...haha! too funny! but thanks for the info
  • chris · 3 years ago
your the idiots, these guys have found a demand in the market for losers who want friends and what not and there making money, plus this is a great way of premoting something.
  • angry user · 3 years ago
yes....this is pure evilness....but genius.....btw: does any one know how to allow ppl to your myspace to bypass the comment summary page
  • Ashley · 3 years ago
I tried the Badder Adder Demo and it isn't worth anything so don't waste your time with it. It added 4 friends and then broke my Myspace page. After that I couldn't even add friends manually anymore. I emailed the Badder Adder tech support and flagged it as a high priority (I wanted to know if this was a common problem) and it took a week (and an additional email to the sites owner) before they responded to my question at all. Their recommendation: Don't use Badder Adder on a Myspace page you care about. Now why would I pay $47 for a product and then use it on a page I don't care about? It is a scam, don't fall for it.
  • NWilliams · 3 years ago
"and you know…That’s What Friends Are For (I always thought that should be MySpace’s theme song).
    "

I think MySpace's theme song should be that "Why can't we be friends? Why can't we be friends?"

    Word.

As a programmer of similar tools, I can say that without a doubt this is the most dishonorable areas of internet marketing.. absolute pain the ethics.
  • Stephen · 3 years ago
ive used the adder robot demo...oiactually really liked it but i'm only 17 and have no credit card so i cant get the full version...bummer
  • the truth is · 3 years ago
Great program for finding people to promote bands or club nights. OK if people use it properly. people can still say "no" to your request.

    BUT...........................

    badder adder doesn't work anymore.

It wont add more than 30 people without crashing. it wont get by the catch-pa.

Badder adder know this but don't care about this.
  • Emilflea · 3 years ago
Hey, I think as of today Badder Adder is obsolete...
  • John Mickey · 2 years ago
BADDER ADDER IS A SCAMMER AND MICHELLE IS GOING TO GET SHOT ONE OF THIS DAYS.Unless she pays her affiliates.

I see a lot of affiliates of badder adder complaining of non payment of affiliate commissions.Kill that bicth
  • KeyFess · 2 years ago
Well for companies it can be difficult to create a starter database of "friends". Software like BadderAdder may be an option. MySpace tends to have a more difficult system for adding friends, while Bebo has a more user friendly way of accepting friends. It would be convienant for MySpace to allow you to set your setting to automatically accept friend requests.
  • Just Another Reader · 2 years ago
It's normal for the average blogger with no programming skills to complain when someone else is making money, and lots of it.

Personally I wouldn't give 2 cents for the junk software, but hey let it be people.

It's similar to Ytunnelpro everyone on the net was complaining about it, and why? Because they where jellouse, after all their not getting a cut!

Think about it, the average blogger earns about $50/month from adsense while programs like badder adder make the programmer rich.

All the more reason to be envious!
  • Rich Harlos · 2 years ago
When I first bought Badder Adder about 4 months ago (v2.2), it was after using their 30-minute, fully functional demo.

I loved the program! Got upgrades to v2.3 and then v2.4 and was using it responsibly (not a mega-friend whore by any measure, it just made it very convenient to automate the leaving of comments, sending out targeted friend requests, etc.).

Starting in mid-November 2006, I submitted a support ticket. Got a form-email back that didn't address the problem, but closed the ticket as if the problem had been solved.

Submitted two more support tickets since then, for two different problems. Only automated replies in return and, to date, none of the problems has been fixed.

Meanwhile, the comment feature stopped working completely. Then recently I noticed the bulletin feature stopped working as well.

Through all this, I cannot get a real person to address my concerns; even the automated replies no longer seem to be being sent.

I feel like Michelle has just disappeared from the face of the earth, leaving Badder Adder as an abandoned product. That makes me mad because the original ad that I responded to contained a personal assurance from Michelle herself that she was a real person and was committed to not abandoning her product as some of the other bot-programmers had done. I believed her, and here I am regretting my decision.

I have been scammed by these people
    DO NOT BUY THIS SOFTWARE

I used it for personal promotion and affiliate promotion but
It just stops working and people don't accept you and
    well, just look at myspace.com/badder_adder
the mere's sofware developers myspace, they don't have that many friends ...

    this is the funny part
    extracted from their sales page:

"Don’t forget that your purchase is protected by my 100% Satisfaction Money Back Guarantee. "

I have asked for a refund over and over and over, and they are just ignoring my request. It's getting close to the 30th day so I won't be able to get any refund by then. They close my tickets ( in the support area) ignoring me!
and when I want to talk to an online representative they send me to the page where I have to submit tickets, for what? to get ignored over and over again...

This is just pure fraud for me and I suggest you tell your friends, let's not help these people get rich scamming us.

I did some research on this michelle macphearson who supposedly runs badder adder. I did a bunch of different searches and found a website that has a profile of her. She has on there that her company is revolution tilt and her website is badderadder.com. There is a different phone number on there as well. I just left a message. She probably won't call back, but I figured I mine as well try.

    I have the crack hahaha,

badder adder is really a scam if you actually buy it LOL It fucks up all the time, even for the ones who do buy it.

Go here for the crack, update it to the newest version of badder adder and run the crack prog, it'll still work!

    www.screennameforum.com/Badder-Adder-20-Cracked...

Alot of cracked software and personal xxx passwords at bangteens.net and shows how to crack your own passwords, also includes loads of cam videos... All in one porn site.

If you can't get to that site for the crack, email me at admin@bangteens.net i'll send you it!

This is why they don't take paypal anymore, doesn't work like it saids. The b*tch saids it'll bypass the image code while adding friends "WRONG" it'll show a profile, yes but how you gonna extract 3,000 ID's and use a dummy account thinking myspace will delete the account, send the requests. Only get maybe 30 adds and 40+ views.....

    Phhhh, lies!

I've used "Friend Adder" for the MySpace page I run for a musician friend. It worked like a charm at first. If, for instance, I was "pimping" or recruiting friends from another musician's page, it would max out at the usual 400 but allow you to use the adding tool with another musician's page, thus exceeding the Myspace max of 400/day. Now, I can't get the "friend add" tool to work on the musician's page, and am diligently searching for the solution to get this tool on his Myspace page to work again. Obviously, I'll be more careful and stick to the Myspace max of 400/day from now on. Meanwhile, if anyone knows how to fix this problem, I'd be most grateful.
  • stewart · 2 years ago
I'm having the same problem. If anyone knows why I cant add any more friend please lest me know, or if friend adder isn't able to function anymore.
    Thanks
  • Devin Longboris · 2 years ago
Its lame and screw that site. There was just a launch of a site that has almost the same program. You can even change the friend adding speed. www.myspacefriendbomber.com The site looks lame but the program is 1/3 there price and works well.
  • Brett · 2 years ago
I also use Adder Robot. I think this program is designed to help promote bands and stuff like that. I don't think the intended audience is pimple faced 16 year olds unless that is who the user is targeting to buy cd's. The bands I promote have successfully added over 6k new friends "listeners" per month a piece. To accept an add or not is up to the person who receives the request. Noone is holding a gun to their head to accept. Out of 400 per day requests, you get a large amount of bands who also, in turn, advertised on the users page. One hand washes the other. The best way to do this kind of marketing is to go to other bands pages who are in your genre of music and appeal to their friends "listeners". In this light, I love the software and see absolutely nothing wrong with it. Even myspace is hiding adware on yoru computer every day. Hence the screen 'skip this advertisement' and the ad never comes up. That's because they just put spyware on your computer. Who should be suing who? Once again, the use is in the hands of the user. When you buy a rifle, do you hunt for food or shoot a cat? The maker doesn't decide. They merely push a product that is useful in the intended light and annoying when used by an idiot.
  • Andrew · 2 years ago
I bought Badder Adder for my band, so I could send out mass comments for shows. I downloaded the program, which was only a 30 min demo. It said the email to activate the software would be coming. It has not came yet, and that was 3 days ago. DO NOT BUY THIS SOFTWARE!!!! DO NOT BUY THIS SOFTWARE!!! DO NOT BUY THIS SOFTWARE!!!! I
have submitted 5 tickets to complain, and only got a generic response. I want my money back, but they have no other contact other than the ticket submission page. THIS IS A SCAM!!! I wish i would've done some more research on the company before I bought it. If anyone else knows how or where to get ahold of michelle macphearson or her company, please let me know!!!
  • Beejae · 2 years ago
    Hey Andrew,

the same exact thing happened to me with Badder Adder and they won't give me a refund either, even after my disocver card went after them. did you ever get your refund or get this resolved or find a way to concact the losers who work at revolution tilt/badder adder?

Your help would be MUCH appreciated. thanks!

The best myspace program out there, hands down, is MyLivePromoter.

Never have I seen a program have the ability to store users information in a database that allows for COMPLETE autonomy when targeting a demographic.

    www.mylivepromoter.com

This thing has more options...it would take months to learn it all.

I just bought badder adder and am having big problems. It won't come up when I click on the desk top icon. I am really frusterated because I really didn't have the money to purchase it, but did because it seemed like such a great program. Anyone know where I can get quick technical support. Looks like I will never get my money back if I try huh?

This is such a horrible product! I've received nothing but spam since I purchased this product (I know, I wish I could have found this article earlier!). those programs are used my many"myspace whores" they dont use it for spam or anything. they just use it to comment there thousands of friends without having to go through the trouble of going to each page. its very good for when they help promote local bands and things like that
  • jsang · 2 years ago
i think ppl are missing the point here. its not about making real life FRIENDS....myspace was created for unsigned artists to have free promotion....hence why if you use badder adder or any adder software (if you are a band) its just to help get your music out there. if you use an adder to just get friends for your personal page then YES.. you are quite sad.

myspace friends are not real friends, myspace is not a real place.

but for musicians and bands myspace friends are helping with the music scene. its what its all about.

i'm gonna get loads of bad comments now!!!

I'm glad I didn't buy this bot. I bought Space Station by Bot Tower, and it worked perfectly for 1 month. Then it stoped signing me into mySpace it's self, and wouldn't perform any task without being signed in, and if you clicked sign in yourself, it still wouldn't do anything. I found their site had been shut down, so I wrote to (I guess the owner)he said MySpace had shut them down. He did refund the $47 to my payPal account, and appologized. That was cool ! He directed me to their new site, but that program doesn't send comments, and that's what I need the most, to promote my music, so I didn't buy it. If their new program is as good as the old one, that's the one you need. You can do everything except send comments...if it did send comments, I'd buy it, just based on how easy, and hassle free the old one was. You can check it out. All I know, is the old one was perfect(I wish I still had it)or could find another one like it. If you just want an adder, or to send messages, I'm sure you'd like their new one, and just as important, the man was honest! He did refund my money. If he didn't, I would be as mad at him, as these people are at Michelle. Check it out for yourself.
    Hi there

MySpace has shut us down, unfortunately we cannot sell, distribute or even update Space Station anymore.

If you are having trouble logging in, then you can still continue by pressing any of the STOP buttons and completing the login process by hand.

If you require a refund, I will be more than happy to do that, but I will need the Order Number on your invoice... alternatively, I can give you a free licence of our new software, My Friends Manager. Here's the website that explains what it's all about:

    www.myfriendsmanager.com

    Check it out!

PS. If anybody out there finds a bot as good as their's,that will send comments, let me know. LoveForYouMeTo@aol.com

if you buy something and you are not happy with it, and the tech support does not respond to you, try calling your credit card company and asking them to charge back the purchase. it's surprisingly easy! tell them the product is defective, and that the company you bought it from will not help you, and they will just reverse the charge and instantly put the funds back in your account. it's not something you should do often, looks bad, but seriously, why should we pay for these crap products that break after a few days and offer no support? screw them and get your cash back in 2 mins with a phone call.
