We don't use the blog to "message" or push products - we simply use it as a way to connect to our customers in an authentic and real way. The voice of the Graco blog is simply that of parents who get what other parents are going through and celebrating the joys of being parenthood. That seems to be a "message" parents enjoy hearing and one they continue coming back to hear.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I agree with this post and Gavin about showing a company's personality and a little bit about the people behind a faceless corporation. I think: "I love corporate blogs because at the very least, they provide a human element to something that is devoid of emotion, understanding, and personality." hits exactly how I feel about corporate blogs.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;People love stories, and love to know that their favorite bookstore (in my case) has a life.  We care about our customers and have our own personality.  Sure it helps us connect, and hopefully strengthen our customer relationships which helps us sell more, but I love talking and interacting with our customers - not only does it add emotion to the corporate entity, it adds it back to your customers who are often just names/addresses in a database!&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;So on our blog you'll find we write about books sometimes, and life sometimes, and stuff we're doing on our site.
