I've been having a subscription with them for awhile now and it's awesome. It's invisible, so no one can tell that you're tracking them. It's so cool.

Re: MySpace Tracker Tracks Teens

i will like to have my space

Re: MySpace Tracker Tracks Teens

dfgdf

Re: MySpace Tracker Tracks Teens

slm

Re: MySpace Tracker Tracks Teens

Hay, i go dumb

Re: MySpace Tracker Tracks Teens

I have to agree, MySpace is screwed no matter how you look at it, while they could have done things like realize that people age of 100 wouldn't browse the site, or that people above the average age of 60 wouldn't browse the site either, while its not impossible it would be rare. You would think that Facebook would want in on the deal since they have been the subject of a lot of teen trouble here in Kansas, not necessarily their fault but they should have caught that underage children were drinking in several pictures, you would think they view profiles as they come in, I also look at it that companies should play an intricate role in helping to protect the children, there are such things as identity validation, while it doesn't have to only be by credit card but there are other ways, like no longer accepting free email since majority of underage kids use free email services, teaming up with YAHOO and MSN to perhaps validate ages via their records? I would think if a global concern was risen it could be solved, parents also have this duty, you would think parents would be smart enough to know that teens lie for a living, they specialize in it from 13 on to about 19 then back on when they turn 21 till their party days are over, or they get their stuff together.

It's mainly the parents problem to take care of their kids, but deeming the internet is such a large place with such a large diversity it cant only be held up to them, thats like saying if you let your kid go to the park and blah blah blah and they lie about their age the person who did it can't get in trouble and the person who watched it shouldn't get in trouble either. There are more then enough tools out there from the get go to help you protect both you and your kids, including SBC yahoos built in tools that wont even let you logon to the internet without a username and password, heh, and I know a lot of these parents have SBC Yahoo! ok ok well ATT Yahoo now, but get up off your a** and start reading about the tools there to help.

To me it sounds pretty much like both sides don't show enough concern to help, so Myspace might be coming to realization because they have investors climbing down their throat or because they have truly realized that 70% of parents just don't care enough to be over protective like back in the day.

Most of the people on here saying that its not right for them to do it, don't have kids or don't show one module of concern for their kids, because most real parents would start up the witch hunt if it happened to their kids, i know I would be the leader of that witch hunt and once i find that witch its over, and it wouldnt be myspace i was looking for either, they are the least of my concerns, I doubt I would be suing other people but thats simply because money cant replace the things lost but I was always taught, don't get mad get back.

However, it could possibly be majority of Myspaces fault because they do track a lot of information on this site, they know a lot about the site, and lets point out the facts and numerous exploits you can perform on the site via its interfaces that they have yet to fix and still get used on a daily basis. This could point out their simple lack of concern for the public, IMHO Myspace has become nothing more then script kiddie heaven, where all the child rapists and script kiddies go to practice their wanna be h4x0r skills, its like prison for the internet pretty much. But hopefully their new software might help fix that problem, or it might arise some issues when other people use the computer too that aren't associated with you.

Re: MySpace Tracker Tracks Teens

ya i need to know the site name so i can get on myspace at school
and my comment on this whole thing is that parents are just protecting us kids from are dumbass mistakes we make
peace age 16
miss luarn

Re: MySpace Tracker Tracks Teens

nice

Re: MySpace Tracker Tracks Teens

WTF IS THIZ

Re: MySpace Tracker Tracks Teens

?????????????????????????????????????

Re: MySpace Tracker Tracks Teens

Hey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: MySpace Tracker Tracks Teens

hi

Re: MySpace Tracker Tracks Teens

write to me

Re: MySpace Tracker Tracks Teens

what up

Re: MySpace Tracker Tracks Teens

Obviously a violation of privacy, but do we (teens) have rights anyway?

The answer is no.

Re: MySpace Tracker Tracks Teens

What the hell..... how do you get myspace at school????

Re: MySpace Tracker Tracks Teens

I can't believe this.
I am feel so sorry for those people that have to get attention on myspace. They are litterally trying to say"I am naked come and look at me!!!" I am so disgusted b y these people. And the parents need to learn how to put their foot down. You do have parental controls and you are an adult. You need to watach what your children are looking at and what they are posting. Children have no buissness being on myspace. Honestly Please.

Re: MySpace Tracker Tracks Teens

myspace needs to work no matter what at all times!!!!!!

Re: MySpace Tracker Tracks Teens

Well, at least they're trying, but give me a break...it doesn't show the kid's profile page? That's like using a tissue as a floatation device! Sure the effort is appreciated, but does nothing to really affect the outcome. But as you said, at least their getting parents to check their age.

Re: MySpace Tracker Tracks Teens

This is suiside.
