The interface is very intuitive, but more importantly, I can find ANY video I'm looking for on the site. They have everything - why go anywhere else?
Cheers,
Aidan
www.MappingTheWeb.com
It not only looks lovely and is constantly evolving, but also has a community that's all about original content.
Its UI is awesome...its in HD, I can choose varying levels of privacy, AND you don't need a 3rd party app to rip vids from it, it allows (opt-in) for source file downloading. holla.
HD BABY!
www.kaltura.com
Kaltura takes video sharing to the next level and provides a platform for people to lean forward and create together. Similar to how wiki platforms allow people to collaborate in text, Kaltura is a place where like-minded people can collaborate in rich-media. It's easy to use, and has a super online video editor. Users can easily upload materials from their own computer, or import videos and pictures from all over the web, including YouTube, Flickr, Photobucket and the New York Public Library database. Kalturas can be posted as interactive widgets on any site. Kaltura is a great way to create personal or public group projects, like fan-created music videos, activists call for action, family greeting cards, travelogs and more...
http://www.stage6.com/
Although, like everyone else, I search for video content on YouTube, I spend more "quality" time at Stage6 because of the high quality of the content and the ease of downloading full length features. Sure the vids are only in DivX format, but that's what I prefer when crunching my own stuff so I find ir a feature, not a problem.
user-friendly modules to create professional quality showcase for video and photo. Would never pay for a web-designer again...
http://www.asterpix.com
Asterpix is the first site that lets users easily create hypervideos - interactive videos with links that allow viewers to navigate into and out of objects – and share them through websites, blogs and e-mail.
Yes there is video sharing on Photobucket!
