Good to see humble Twitter bring down Goliath

Re: Twitter Killed Technorati, Too

This may be a stupid question, but how is Twitter suppose to be killing off companies when it is dwindling as well? I haven't heard anything about Twitter lately, but the last I did hear was that it was trying to find a new owner to keep it alive. And how can it continue to be that popular when it's had so many problems? Usually if people find some service unreliable they drop that service...No?

Re: Twitter Killed Technorati, Too

Summize is great, way better than Tweetscan in my experience and a hugely useful tool for listening to what people are saying about your company! Theo, I like your point about improving the relevance of results in something like Summize. If people are paying attention, I would imagine someone's already working on it.

Re: Twitter Killed Technorati, Too

Have to agree w/ #1... the in-text ads are horrid.

Re: Twitter Killed Technorati, Too

Anybody could whip up a summize in weeks. Expect there to be a number of twitter trackers. It is a B-party. There is another party where all the A-listers are attending, mining for the riches.

Re: Twitter Killed Technorati, Too

Algorithms that will rate the reputation of twitters, relevancy of their posts and so on will put this on a different level. At the moment summize.com just orders results by newest. Expect to see some interesting development here.

Re: Twitter Killed Technorati, Too

i hate when i make typos -- summize* you know what i meant. its the damn mousepad on the macbook.

Re: Twitter Killed Technorati, Too

Yes, sumtmize is amazing, if twitter wasn't so busy with their own problems, they might notice, its getting all the attention... lol.

Re: Twitter Killed Technorati, Too

off-topic:

ah, these snap-link-bubbles are really sucks. let's get back to read Mashable on rss-only :(
