Another resource for free language learning on the Internet coming up soon:

Hello-Hello.com will be a FREE language learning website combined with a social networking where members will be able to:

- LEARN: do the lessons online anytime, anywhere

- TEACH: get help from native speakers and help other members to learn their native language

- COMMUNICATE: chat with people around the world to practice the language and make friends

The lessons were actually developed by ACTFL (The American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages) which ensures their quality.

The site will be ready in a few days and people that pre-sign up before the launch will become VIP members so go ahead to www.hello-hello.com

If you're looking for something for your children there's Foreign Language Friends (www.foreignlanguagefriends.com). The website uses theme-based, rich media (games, animations, sing-a-longs, etc.) designed to quickly build vocabulary.

The site has been live since January and we're trying to release a new theme every 2 to 4 weeks.

Great list! Revoluminary is another streaming video tutoring site that was recently launched. They have all kinds of topics including tutors in about 14 languages.

Great post! Not seen another single source with the variety on this topic!

Do you have one for online college level lessons? I mean serious higher studies and not school level tutors of which there are plenty.

I use http://www.graduatetutor.com now but they only offer a few subjects.

iTunes is another good source to find languages podcasts, I use Coffee Break Spanish, one of the best Spanish courses, very useful.
