I'd love to use RC2 but for some reason Applescript support is almost none existent now so I can't in good faith use it

i have to say, ff3 is a goodness. ff2 (on my macbook) was not usable - hours of watching the beachball spin and refusing to load fancy pages like google, but today my probs are gone. all hail the mozgods.

I'm anxiously awaiting the final release of Firefox 3. 2 was great, I expect 3 to be even greater. Especially as more and more apps heavily rely on JavaScript for usability w/ FF3's performance increases.

Know why this story is rated so low??? Because you dont get to complain about beta versions, especially when newer more stable versions are out. Here is a suggestion: Stick with actual news.

Meh, complain about firefox and the zealots come out to play. I feel you Stan. I'm a webdeveloper and we've had nothing but 'fun' with the round of betas that MozDev has released. So much so (and with so little people resources at the moment) that we've decided not to even bother updating until we get word from the inside that an actual stable release is eminent (and get a pre-release build).
Shouldn't be rated so low, as Todd suggests, merely because you're pointing out the same frustrations lots of devs have run across. Mozilla isn't a deity, and as far as I know, there isn't a golden statue of Firefox anywhere (yet).

Sorry you are having problems with B5. RC2 is likely to be the final release so if you have the same problems there and can reproduce please do email me - we'd love to track down the cause.

I do have exactly the same issue for about 3 months with Opera 9.2x. Happened no idea why.
Only one site doesn't work though and it's yours. Doesn't load CSS, can't write comments...

I found that one of the filtersets I was using on AdBlock started blocking css. Got rid of that and now things are better.
