Here's an example in this article:
"Then there’s the fact that we actually tried the form, and the closest thing a phone call that occurred was the results page that popped up that said “Calling…â€."
The phrase "the closest thing a phone call" is missing a word, the word "to". It should read "the closest thing to a phone call".
I'm finding these left out words, incomplete sentences, and other simple flaws in writing in a number of Mashable articles lately.
Please slow down enough to write properly. Spell checking alone is not sufficient. Perhaps a grammar checker should be used, or Mashable needs to get an additional proofreader involved in the production process.
Derr... just watched the ending. Ha ha
