I've seen the so-called death mentioned on several web sites, but clearly nobody told my inbox.

On top of that, another dozen sites have declared Facebook dead...so how the hell are people communicating these days? Did the two cans with a string between make a major come back when I wasn't looking?

Seriously, you tech-blogger types desperately need to coordinate and decide what's dead and what's not dead and in fact, getting better. Because otherwise, I don't know HOW to communicate with people.

Thank goodness for you technology authorities. I was almost so stupid as to try sending an e-mail to someone.

Re: Facebook Apps Find Your Email Address

Call me a Facebook apologist, but I think the title of this post is misleading and sensational. I'm not 100% certain, but I believe that Facebook merely allows email messages to be sent to users on behalf of applications, via the API. I don't believe Facebook actually reveals users' email address to applications or their developers or third-party servers.

Is there potential for annoyance and abuse here? Yes, definitely. But there's a big distinction between that and actually letting apps "find your email address" as the title of this post suggests, and which I don't think is actually happening.

Re: Facebook Apps Find Your Email Address

I noticed this too and am not sure if I like it too much...
