Is there potential for annoyance and abuse here? Yes, definitely. But there's a big distinction between that and actually letting apps "find your email address" as the title of this post suggests, and which I don't think is actually happening.
On top of that, another dozen sites have declared Facebook dead...so how the hell are people communicating these days? Did the two cans with a string between make a major come back when I wasn't looking?
Seriously, you tech-blogger types desperately need to coordinate and decide what's dead and what's not dead and in fact, getting better. Because otherwise, I don't know HOW to communicate with people.
Thank goodness for you technology authorities. I was almost so stupid as to try sending an e-mail to someone.
That's was the main reason I got my 8hands and changed my facebook settings that I won't get any emails from them.
8hands kets me know if something is up and my email account is Facebook free.
This feature is only allowing restriction of emails.
Like, I don't get enough junk mail.
