@ Andrew Warner - Heh, yeah. I imagine that will become a routine jab at Apple until the company lets up. Just as it did with applications in the first place. First it fought them during each firmware upgrade. Then it opened the store. All this stuff over what's allowed and what's not allowed will be over with when Apple realizes it's impinging on growth. This is what happens. It drives innovation with a great platform, but is slow to satisfy the rabid fanbase.

Will this let me receive MMSes on my iPhone?
  • Ian Hendry · 1 year ago
No it doesn't help you receive them and I should say it also doesn't work outside of North America at this time either.

Yeah, bummer. That's how it always has been for things of this kind, unfortunately.

Flutter does not do MMS, despite their innuendo.

Apple really needs to fix the terrible user experience using MMS on the iPhone. I make the case here: http://blog.mcmanus-family.com/2008/09/the-case...

Forget Flutter, it´s not real MMS.

But SwirlyMMS is, check it out here: http://www.swirlsyspace.com

And for a comparison between Flutter and Swirly, here: http://www.appleiphoneapps.com/2008/09/review-s...
