Plus...each of these particular implementations is just butt-ugly. "Gmail Redesigned" has some redeeming qualities, but still exhibits the same overkill as the others.
But hey...it's your Gmail, uglify it any way you like. So long as I don't have to look at it.
After I saw the screenshot I was not so convinced.
But now, I dont even imagine going back to the regular gmail skin.
Gmail Redesigned makes my gmail twice faster as before (I dont know why), it is much more confortable, its a new experience.
If you use Gmail a lot, you will appreciate, trust me !!!
I've just installed 'Gmail Redesigned' and I absolutely iove it and agree with the previous comment that I can't imagine going back to the regular gmail design, except for the fact that
it drags a bit too much on loading which may
pose a problem, I'll see but I really do love
it.
I'm pretty much of a techie so I know what I'm talking about when I say as far as making
anyone's gmail run faster, I find that very hard to believe.
Thanks for posting this. it's great!
So Respect to the afforded time guys. I tried it myself but failed.
I'm a little surprised by this, as I've been using gmail classic for so long, but until now I haven't realized how ugly it really is. I guess it's true that aesthetics does increase productivity.
