I need to know how I will be Rick-Rolling people next year.
I'm tired of only being able to view the latest trends in technology from my desktop. I need to be able to see (and feel) some of these things live and in person.
I should be keeping up with this stuff myself, but I'm way too busy. :(
And I was just informed my position was "downsized" (read eliminated), I don't have the funds to be able to attend.
Thanks for the opportunity.
I am a tech teacher at an elementary school and we can't afford to let our kids fail!
...I want to help publicize an idea that will change the world,
solve the banking crisis, eliminate childhood obesity, bring peace to the world,
allow Republicans and Democrats to join and hands and sing, and develop a
meaningful business model for Twitter...
and I hear there is a really cool swag bag available for attendees!
I need an excuse to get away from my wife
I'm a tech startup junkie that can't wait around for the media to cover this event.
1)I work at a start up and it would be a great learning experience for me.
2)I'm an attractive 48 year old woman and not married. DEMO 09 is surely a place
I can find an available man, as they are certain to outnumber females. That
would be another great experience for me! I mean learning experience...
My reasons may not necessarily be in the correct order but both are important
to my well-being!
with the economy going so bad, a free conference may be the only conference I
get to go to this year.
I haven't bought an iPhone and I am happy about that.
I need a break, I need to get out. I am stuck in the 19th century at my school I teach at. I need to see what the future holds! I need hope that one day I get to help my school move forward. Please Help me so I can help my Pre-K to 8th grade students.
...as a business undergraduate student and budding entrepreneur, I feel that social media and user generated content are the future of business and our economy. As someone looking to launch a venture of this nature, I find it highly important to network with and learn from those on the cutting edge of this new era of technology and innovation. Plus, did I mention I’m a college student (AKA: Broke as a joke)?
I just got hired for a new job and I need to impress them by being involved in things like this!
I am hoping to spread information about these technologies to not only
my clients but my region which is having a rebirth from a manufacturing
region to knowledge economy stronghold and the more of these technologies we can
put into practice the larger the win for our region and these companies/technolgoies.
a company that actually has some capital to invest in these start-ups which
is probably the only reason a start-up is going to attend this event and
the thing that seems to be in short supply this year. + I have never been to
California.
I need to see the hottest technology launches at DEMO 09 because the technology is going to be changing the way we use the web, interact with people, effect political change, and ultimately form our world. These are the tools we'll be using into the future, and I want to see them first!
Also, my writing and photography offer stands. :)

Thanks!
I am obsessed with startups and have bookmarked, tagged and sorted over 5000 of them over the past 4 years.
i enjoyed doing at DEMO 08 (plus will Chris dance again?)
I need to be awed.
my birthday is only a couple of months away!
what great innovations are coming so that I may position myself to build a
great company.
somewhere at the show is my next employer.
...this is where the future will come from, and right now we all need to get
optimistic about the future.
I teach current teachers and future teachers (college education majors)
technology courses and I always strive to not only share with them what is new,
but to help us all better prepare our students so the world can benefit from
their abilities. Students' ideas and dreams grow if we have an idea of what is
in the now.
early look at new technologies/solutions and helping early teams to thrive, to find
their customers/partners, and to match with the right investors for them.
passionate about making technology available to the masses. I believe that
technology is useful only if it is usable. DEMO 09 will allow me to gauge
the state of the art and determine if we, as the keepers of the keys, are
collectively working towards my mantra.
I am just graduating from college and trying to find a job so seeing all the awesome new startups might give me an opportunity to work in a field I love.
categorized as a cocky beer lovin frat boy on the outside but the inner geek in
me dires to escape, and I have consequentially been abducted by the
LAMBDA LAMBDA LAMBDA s' and they will no let me go unless I attend one of these
nerd conventions. Will you let DEMO 09 release my inner geek....
I want to be first to see the latest, most innovative products, rather than playing catch up later on. Also, I need to see the sun again - today it's -11F/-24C here, and 59F/15C in Palm Springs - save me!
