Glad to see that cforms came out compatible so quickly. I use that one all over the place.

    Great list!

THe only issue I had was with 2.7 is with the “Platinum SEO Pack” plugin. My pages would come up blank when this was installed. I went back to the “All in One SEO Pack” plugin with no problem.. so I guess i’ll switch all my sites to this.

working on wordpress lately so this came on hand. thanks for sharing

Actually, I have not had any problems with any of the plugins I use.

That being said, I am surprised that WP-DBManager (http://lesterchan.net/portfolio/programming/php/) was not on this list; I am not associated with the plugin, just a user. WP-DBManager gives you automatic scheduling of backing up and optimizing of your WordPress database; imho, this is a crucial plugin.

Our plug-ins for Wordpress (Praized Community and Praized Tools) are also already compatible with WP 2.7. They enable anyone to placeblog using our database of 17M+ North American places (restaurants, bars, lawyers, etc.)

    Merci beaucoup.

C'est très utile. Je ne suis pas un professionnel mais j'utilise wordpress pour faire mes blogues. J'aprécis de voir que c'est de plus en plus facile.

Thanks for the list. I am curious what photo gallery plugin you recommend. I finally settled on NextGen for a site I'm working on (www.marinestainless.com.au/gallery), but I think it could be greatly improved.

If you using callback function for displaying comments in Wordpress 2.7 new style, plugin Google Analyticator can brake commentators URL, if outgoing traffic monitoring enabled in GA plugin settings.

I know it's too early to talk about but this plugin SHopp
    http://www.shopplugin.net

is going to revolutionize eccommerce on the wordpress platform.

I've used Wp-Commerce, eShop, and Quick Cart... but this is going to blow all of them away...
trust me (though eShop is currently the best)...

I'm a beta tester for this plugin... not only can you use Google Checkout, and Paypal.. but Authorize.net making it a TRUE eccommerce plugin.

Just thought I'd inform you guys....

The only plugin I haven't already used on this list that would be useful is "PHP Code Widget - This plugin will allow you to post PHP snippets in your post and execute them."

We were waiting for the 2.7 version to arrive before switching from wordpress.com to wordpress.org, thank you, this is great information and very helpful!

Not to shabby, I wasn't aware of WP Super Edit, wet_maintenance and jQuery plugins. So, how did you manage to add the "Share my comment on:" feature below the comment box? Thanks in advance. :)

"PHP Code Widget - This plugin will allow you to post PHP snippets in your post"
    and execute them."

Don't think so. It allows php within a widget, not posts.

Довольно необычным языком описывает автор сайта свои Уроки Фотошоп. Зато ясно и понятно, за что респект!
  • Rudi · 10 months ago
I also recommend using Google XML Sitemaps. The author said it's compatible with WP 2.7
  • Pierpaolo · 10 months ago

May I plug my own WordPress 2.7 plug-in here? It does one thing, but does it well.

It switches the admin menu from the left-side over to the right.

It is called Admin Menu on Right

Thanks for the information! I think the best out of all of these is the Platinum SEO, because of it's ability to create 301's on the sly when you change your permalink.

These are a pretty good collection of plugins. I have some of these, and I'll be sure to look into some of the other ones that I don't have.
