yea, I'm also not a fan of 5-star systems, especially for rating content. Because, by rating it 5 stars, are you saying it was an exceptional article/comment, or are you simply saying that the subject matter was interesting? It's unclear.

Browser extensions only limit potential users. They will hit a ceiling in no time.

Not to mention how unintelligible their site it. I look at it and I am paralyzed with navigation fright.

Frankly, I would take Intense Debate or Disqus anyday over CoComment.

I agree with Mazuma Leap it is ridiculous that cocomment is bragging about their rating system, but still haven't made cocomment compatible with Firefox 3. Seems to me that someone needs to get their priorities straight.

Seriously, what the hell?!? I use coComment to manage a variety of different conversations, biz and personal, and these guys still haven't updated their Firefox 3 extension. They just posted a blog suggesting that people not convert to Firefox 3 until they fix it - problem is most people convert to F3 then figure out they have no coComment ext, only to read that the founders advice is to not convert...great plan guys...no really, excellent thinking.
