You Decide.</title><link>http://mashable.com/2008/05/19/newscre/#comment-6003813</link><description>&lt;p&gt;Iâ€™m not surprised that Newscred is getting press like this- Newscred's mission of tracking the credibility of our main stream news sources, blogs, and authors is an ambitious one and if executed well it has huge potential to shake up the news media scene and change the news reading experience- So itâ€™s only natural that the world is starting to take notice!! &lt;br&gt;I for one don't think mainstream news sources should get more wieght than blogs, leave it to the user to decide what's credible and what's not!Should they profile user's for age, education, political views, etc? Maybe- at least to get a better idea of the conditioning behind the voting. But I checked this site out and it has more of a chance to cross over to the mainstream than any of the other social news sites I've seen.
