This is a mashup of Kaboodle and Icovia's 2D Room Planner. How will these guys build an audience? If you're interested in home remodeling and design, you're already spending your time online at sites like HGTV.com and Bobvila.com, both of which already have plenty of interactive 2D and 3D design applications and all the information you would ever want to complete your remodel.

I think this is a really good idea. Home makeover shows are still really popular, as is DIY. And if the only problem is the Flash room designer thing, I wouldn't mind betting that in a while they'll get it fixed and it could be something huge.

I do agree it doesn't have the wow factor, and I'd be inclined to mark it as a failure rather than a success, at the moment, but it does have potential.

I don't know if this is for real but when I tried to create an account at MyDesignIn my Mcafee Site Advisor went nuts.
