Didn't you guys know that Evite holds the patent on winter landscapes? They're patenting beach scenes next.

But seriously--with the huge number of ads on every Evite, it is no wonder people are looking for alternatives.

What a bunch of BS. My wife probably has half a dozen rolls of Christmas wrapping paper similar to both of those designs.

This comes at a timely juncture though, I just set up my first eVite last night, and it was such a poor experience, I wanted to try an alternative, but I couldn't think of the name.

All evite seems to be doing is free advertising for a relatively unknown competitor... I mean, is there really a lot to be gained from suing?

To give them the benefit of the doubt, I'm gonna assume that the ones that got removed were more obvious copies. That said, you can't help feeling that they're just trying to scare a competitor.
