Should probably add some data to back up that "hunch". See the Alexa data (warning - frequently inaccurate!) and Hitwise's photo sharing data. The search volume shows a similar trend.

Webshots was kind of crappy before. Download their desktop app (for parents, designed my own screensaver) and forget about them. This makes me want to visit more often

Are there any reviews of the commercial integration with these photosharing sites for building revenue generating mashups? Most of the reviews seem to talk about more personal use.

Nice redesign but unfortunately it is still not possible to sort a search result by most recent uploads...in user interaction design, Flickr is still king!

I love your site, and use to use it regulary. Yet i found it annoying as even though i joined webshots i couldnt acess the really nice photos, if so only for backgrounds.
i find it hard to find the pictures that im looking for as most serched ie: horses are all jumbled up and if i search for a breed i never get what im looking for.
Curently i stumbled apon another picture site called Flickr. It has great pictures and i love its set out especially how members can comment on each others work, and these comments are neatly displayed.
