I don't think anybody denies Malkin wrote her book.

What Malkin believes, writes, broadcasts or publishes is irrelevant to whether she is ALLOWED to do so.

What happened to sentiment such as "I may not agree with what you say, but I'll defend your right to say it"?

Troofers' commitment to such values has been exposed as hollow. That's the point - not whether one agrees with Malkin's views or not.

Sheesh - go to AJs sites - go to any troofers sites - one theme you can't escape is a professed support for freedom of speech.

Alex Jones may be loud, but he spoke the truth about Malkin. On the first page of her book (In Defense of Internment) she says: "My book is also a defense of racial, ethnic, and nationality profiling policies." That says it all. She believes we should lock up people based on what church they go to or what color their skin is. That is fascism. I wonder how she will feel when she gets singled out and harassed and detained at the airport because of her tan skin and her oval eyes. I think she should reconsider her views.

I like Mashables and check it daily. I was disturbed to see this article which is obviously laden with bias and poorly researched. I've spent the last day couple of days considering the implications this article has for the reliability of the information on the rest of the blog.

I have decided that I no longer trust any news that comes from this blog. I normally do not make 'I'm leaving' comments on blogs, generally if a blog appears to be in a downward spiral I'll simply stop visiting. In this case I make this comment solely in the hope that the criticism may be taken into account and mashable could attempt to reclaim some semblance of reliability.

I dare you to use youtube and find some of the uncut videos of this incident, there's plenty of them, as there were plenty of cameras. The only person who uttered "kill michelle malkin" was the frat boy in the green shirt and the dove hat, later yelling "Alex Jones is a corporate stooge". These articles are contorted beyond any semblance to the truth. The point is: Our own government IS building detention camps for American citizens (that's you and me) as we speak. It's not just Malkin's book. It's real, it's tangable, it's barbed wire fences, plastic coffins, freight cars with benches designed for seated occupants with their hands bound. The kind of stuff you'd expect to find at Gitmo, waiting to be used on US citizens en mass. And Steve Green in his lovely, lovely parking lot just can't understand why Jones is so upset. Internment camps are bad, but that's no reason to yell, right? No, it's more important to debate whether Alex Jones is left or right wing.

I really like Mashable! and would love to continue my RSS subscription but this is unacceptable.

I am agnostic to this issue but I have to know that what I am reading on Mashable! is accurate. That's why I avoid mainstream media.
