    Would love to go but it's out of our budget at the moment. These conferences are crazy expensive.

    I am actually exited about going, as I never have been to NY - I expect it to be different by attendees and of course I also want to make advertisement about the Expo in Berlin in October as well as the huge international Barcamp happening the weekend before (discl. I am on the advisory board for the first and help organizing the second).

    To Sam et al: you know all of that costs money to put together (look at mashable - they also have a staff of people who needs feeding, I accept their advertisement as part of the equation.).

    But you should not miss out on it, play it strategically. Get yourself an expo pass, a cheap flight to it and a night or two through priceline. Share costs with somebody you like for the hotel. The opportunities you have at these events especially for introducing your app to people is so much more expensive otherwhise. :)

    And if you do go, make sure to bring some nice schwag and if it only is for Tamar ;)

    We will be there with all throughout the entire conference....

    As well as the SOA Conference happening the same days

    Then two weeks after is the start of Advertising Week in NYC
