You have done such a beautiful job on your post for Blog Action Day '08 and the research that went into it.As for myself I just want to say I felt so proud and happy to have been involved with such a worthy cause.It is also uplifting to be a part of a blogging community that really cares and bands together to show our support.I can't wait for the next opportunity,but also realize it should be an on going commitment.Poverty is a serious social issue that unlike cancer,we can wipe this out.
May everyone who got involved be blessed with compassion and loving kindness.

Years ago back in 1994/1995, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on the Omnifest freenet (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wik... sponsored by the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee, I created Resources for the Homeless which was the very first text based site online designed and devoted specifically to help the homeless find all the resources available in one city via an online site. I encourage everyone to create a similar Resources for the Homeless for whatever city in which they live. That sort of site coupled with the new Firefox Geo extension can really help the homeless find resources.
