With Facebook now having a more open API, I wonder about the possibility of linking it with ones facebook account. Have events you're attending or invited to automatically added to the calendar. If you mention someones name, if it could pull it from one of your photo album's that would definitely be neat, etc.
Your idea of being able to important the class/professor data is also a great idea.

importing class data is tough, schools don't release that info easily, and the fact of the matter is there are thousands of schools with their own formats each.

So does this integrate with the Facebook API or not? Title would indicate that it does, seems a bit misleading. Facebook's not just for college students any more..
