I am happy for them, sometimes its better to be lucky than good. It is not seen as a good thing to sell a large chunk of your shares within the first six months but hey, they own it, they can do what ever they want with it.

Minor update: according to more recent reports, Hurley's stock is worth $345.6 million, while Steve Chen's is worth $326.2 million. But hey, what's $20 million between friends? ;)

    myzine,

Actually, the new design doesn't give me a delete button either. ;)

But I'll go dig around out back and see if I can find the comment.

    BK,

    Thanks. Fixed.

    myzine,

Got rid of your comment with the typos, as requested. I'll leave our discussion up, though, because otherwise it doesn't make any sense.

No wonder they are sellin Google's TV chief revealed in Amsterdam that YouTube is NO Good and Pipes are Clogged
"The Web infrastructure, and even Google's (infrastructure) doesn't scale. It's not going to offer the quality of service that consumers expect," Vincent Dureau, Google's head of TV technology, said at the Cable Europe Congress." (WOW! S.)
"One cable chief executive, Duco Sickinghe from Belgian operator Telenet (TNET.BR: Quote, Profile , Research), said it was "the best news of the day" to hear that Google could not scale for video." (I agree, it made my day as well S.)"

I'm going to vomit. God, it hurts. The founders will make more than 300 million each for essentially selling Kazaa to Google. Youtube became so popular because of all the copyright videos. Now that Google owns it, you can see Youtube's business model unraveling. The media giants are not going to let Google off the hook.

    300 mill - jesus christ.
