So.... its a profile that lets you post links to your other profiles. Great.
Links + some basic Flickr & YouTube API integration isn't too compelling to me.
As henri says, however, I guess there's more to come...

So this is a little beyond a ClaimID? When is someone going to take a shot at a universal portable profile where it's not just aggregating all of your info into "another" location? Why do I still have to upload different photos to every profile? Will there be a solution to pull one photo album into every profile, one login, one set of profile information? Anyone?
Explode doesn't have all the features you're after at the moment, but we aim to create a truly distributed social network. Our aim is somewhat simpler - rather than pull information in, why not just direct users to the source? - but ultimately, everyone need only have one profile that represents them, whichever systems they choose to house their content.

This site does sound pretty interesting, although I'd have to agree with Mr Cashmore that it's not really ready for the mainstream. You need something that automatically collects all your media from social media sites.

SocialURL is not the best or the easiest to use of the profile aggregators out there, but it isn’t the worst either.
One suggestion: actually suggest the proper urls to people during the linking process. Suggesting www.delicious.com to link to my del.icio.us page was not very helpful.
