Infinity is looking very good and professional. there are various themes out these days but most popular one's are from used and can be seen every where. These sort of themes kind of stand out from the crowd.

@Lisa - For something more corporate, or at least more minimalistic, take a look at the Thesis theme. I've got some tips about it on my blog, which uses Thesis. I use Thesis on both company websites as well as personal blogs. Thesis is easy to customize to your own tastes. But out-of-the box it is simple, elegant, and understated, rather than flashy.

I agree with Brandon, though I would put it more strongly. A theme shouldn't "stun" users, it should show them the content in an unobtrusive manner. There's nothing wrong with attractive themes, but most of these themes are more distracting than useful.

we have one company blog... http://blog.jippidy.com .. but i want to find a way to make changing the theme more of an automated process

Not free, but dirt cheap.. Here is a good video blogging theme which is highly customizable, adaptable and very professional looking.
They look good to eyes but its not my type. I like simple and cleaner ones with simple layout making readers feel comfortable reading the posts on the blog.

These themes are definately nice, but as with most that i have found, they look fairly impractical for a serious site/blog.
Perhaps theme developers should give more of a thought to the use of the themes rather than giving the graphics all the attention.
What would be nice is a greater variety of themes which allow for a wider range of usage. It is slightly frustrating that without decent PHP knowledge you cant adjust the sidebar positions etc.
