Why is wikipedia management silent about this? Are they actually ok with management promoting pedophilia on the company web site? Maybe the problem is worse than we thought - maybe the people at the top of Wikipedia share Erik Moller's pro-pedophilia sentiments. This may turn out to be a very awful story before it is done.

I was molested as a boy, and I have to tell you honestly... It is not the end of the world. I did survive it and I don't normally think about it except for this whole 24 years in the basement story.

It was pretty gross, only at the time I didn't know that it was gross, just different, which is the problem. The adult is more aware than the child.

It is clearly aberrational behavior for an adult and like Glasgow says when dealing with this issue it must be an unequivocal NO WAY.

It is true that children are capable of feeling sexual pleasure. Many mothers of young kids have encountered the awkward situation of having to explain to a six-year-old that masturbation isn't really something you want to do in public. This in no way changes the fact that lifelong trauma is a pretty much unavoidable result of any adult or older child getting involved (if you want to put it "nicely") in that same six-year-old's sexual development. What you do to yourself, or what you go through on your own, is in no way equivalent to what others, especially if they're more aware than you, do to you.

I think it's possible to acknowledge that children are not hallmark-card innocents without twisting this to mean that they are essentially midget adults with a concept of "consent" and can be treated as such. I suspect that Erik has no kids of his own, and is talking out of his ass out of some illusion of radically objective thinking.
