    Hello i was just wondering wether you could help me on this situation. Someone has set up a fake profile of me on facebook and puting nasty pictures an writing awful comments on it. Is ther a way i can get someone to delete this as they are adding my friends on it. thanks

    I don't see it as a joke myself - it's someone taking the identity of someone else and trading on it. It's very difficult to find out if a profile on Facebook is authentic and we need to remember that Facebook originally marketed itself as a secure and private alternative to other social networks, privacy and security goes hand in hand with authenticity.

    I mean, I guess I understand that it's not a great idea to "fake" a facebook identity, but these consequences are a little ridiculous!

    Nice misleading headline. You say "will" get you arrested- I suggest looking up what that word means. Citing one example of one person in an oppressive country who got arrested for something is hardly grounds for such a headline.
