Regarding Tag2find, I've actually done that with all my documents. I use a Mac, which has support for Spotlight comments, or tags. I've tagged all my files, and dumped them in one folder. Whenever I need a file, I search with Spotlight with the tags that the file should have as the search terms. It's wicked fast.
Nick Santilli over at the Apple Blog (http://theappleblog.com) is what gave me the idea. He has a few articles about the topic, if anyone is interested. Tag2find looks (Well, I just glanced at the page) like the same thing.

Do we really need a post devoted entirely to tagging? Ha. In my mind, tagging is simply a feature that many online start-ups choose to leverage to provide meta-data and context. The fact that there are 'tag cloud creators' and you choose to list them is bubble-worthy :)

Here is a standalone program that works with any WordPress or WordPress Multiuser blog (including WordPress.com) to create tag clouds from your categories:
We also index valid tags on most other board types.
An advantage of BoardTracker tags is that we enable cross-board tag view and search (and clouds) meaning one board can show tagged topics from multiple specific boards or even ALL boards indexed by boardtracker should the board admin choose this option. The same global functionalty applies to our other mods.
TagandFile.com offers a tagging service for files, with searching, access control and full history too.
