Nice advert running on this story... http://www.caughtinthecrossfire.com/music/news/...

I guess auto-generated from the text?

I'm guessing so. On certain backpages, Snap.com is currently generating text ads.

Yea, I was just about to post this as well. Reading the story and I was hoping that it was part of the text and not a tasteless ad. +1 for tasteless ads on this one.

I thought it was an ad also, guess not...

"Online Bullying" is a joke! Growing up, I saw kids get verbally and physically bullied almost everyday. It was brutal at times. They didn't kill themselves, though. In some cases, it actually made them stronger adults. "Online Predators" and "Scammers" are the net's only "black eyes" in my opinion.

    We can't understand children.

    This is SO sad!

Instead of having memorials, the friends should fight or report the bullying people, no point in showing support afterwards. There should be "report abuse" button and the bullies should be banned.

The parents are to blame. i'm sorry but no cyber bullying makes you kill yourself. The parents obviously have no idea what this teen was doing online.

Attention all parents !!!!! Be more of a part of your childrens daily lives and you will know if there are problems.

The kid had problems offline for sure.

    That's exactly right, modemlooper.

The parents should be charged with murder for allowing this clearly sick child to get on the computer for chatting at all! I think this should be used to ban minors from all websites that have chat or forums. What's wrong with people's heads???? Any citizen that support such crooks are crooks themselves or too stupid to be allowed to live. These dirty politicians are just using such things to control the masses yet they won't even enforce the laws that already exist on the books....I wouldn't want to be in their shoes when the chickens come home to roost and their karma comes to bite them in the behind. Why don't people throw these bums out of office like responsible people or do they just want slaves who do without question and wash their nasty behinds?????

Were his parents paying attention to warning signals.

If you don't like bullying - don't continue to visit the Website - find others

Politicians are just trying to cater
their own political needs. Opportunistic, it sounds to me. Like most people here said, there were real problems that needed to be addressed, and sad that most parents are simply too wrapped up in their own lives to see what's going on in their children's lives...
