Some great suggestions both in the main post and comments - plenty of new sites and info to check out!

May I throw another into the Mix? The Big Green Switch - http://www.biggreenswitch.c... - is a UK-based site aimed at encouraging everyone to do their bit for the environment. There are loads of simple tips and advice on how to make a difference without too much hassle or expense, plus forums, blogs, quizzes, a green products shop and even a green jobs search tool.

For anyone who's new to green issues and wants to play their part, this is a great site to use for starters.

I have been checking out their Alexa numbers lately and it looks like they have a huge amount of traffic, more so than most of the sites you list here. Nice blend of content and community.
