Like Rupert, I use Blip.tv to blog my videos. I've just got the Samsung Omnia and want to warn everyone thinking about this phone as a tool to video blog NOT to get it. It records the audio at AMR quality at 5kb/s.Shocking if you want to get good sound quality :(

For the last year, my main blogging tool has been my Nokia N93 which I use to shoot, cut and post videos & text direct to my blog, Twittervlog.tv. Blip.tv has a great feature that allows you to email a video to them with text for your blog post, and they automatically crosspost it to your blog as an embedded player. Youtube and other video sharing sites offer some similar services, but not as good as Blip's.

I agree with Eric...the title of this post is really misleading. The list is useful if you're thinking about starting a blog and want to be able to post to it from your mobile phone, but offers nothing for established bloggers (unless they happen to be using the platforms mentioned) who are looking posting options from their mobile phones.

I've been experimenting with utterz lately and find it to be a pretty good fit...especially if you want to be able to post multi-media content to several different locations at once.

Travellerspoint has had moblogging enabled for over two years. It's used, but not nearly as popular as its convenience would lead you to believe. Quite interesting since this is aimed at travellers who theoretically would be one of the better target markets.

A parallel to blogging on your phone, is commenting FROM your phone using your voice. I'm working with Jaduka 'DukaBuzz,' a widget being shown at SxSW -- an add on for bloggers who want to 'hear' from readers, literally. Add code to Blogger, TypePad, WordPress, etc. and readers can add audio comments to blogs using any home, office or mobile phone. Maybe some Mashable folks running around SxSW can check it out.

While this is a great list of blogging software that supports mobile phones it is not a list of mobile phone blogging "tools".

Something like Nokia's Lifeblog is a phone blogging tool. I wrote a review of it not long ago here: http://solicitingfame.com/2...

I would have thought to have seen Utterz among your top 7 picks (maybe you should have gone to 8), if only because it offers a convenient one in to many out mobile blogging model and supports most if not all of the services listed above...
