I'm being sarcastic. I'd rather buy $20 million in crude oil futures than invest it in something like Slide. Maybe that's what Max Levchin has actually done with that money.

it's a good idea, but also very easy to implement, if it's just a graphical border around the standard youtube player (which is what it looks like from here, i haven't tried it). if it catches on, i wouldn't be surprised if every myspace code/layout site adds their own.

Haha its pretty cool! Whats the 20million in investment needed for, servers? maybe they have to buy all those plasma tvs to take pictures of for the frames or something, no.

If Alexa is right about how big Slide is, their monthly bills are quite high. Storing and serving photos isn't as expensive as video, but it's not cheap.
