There are hundreds of videos & footage of Beyonce in YouTube. Who is to say that suddenly now, asking to remove a supposedly embarrasing video is because of copyright infringement? Doesn't she realize that it is more embarrasing to claim this is about copyright than if she had fallen and in the fall, ripped her clothes off? Absurd.

Are they also going to force all the news outlets that aired the clip approximately 1 billion times to re-edit their footage and take it out? I'm pretty sure those same news outlets aren't going to be paying the author of the video for using it so the author could very well make a claim under the DMCA...rightfully.
I've been dealing with DMCA claims at work lately and I'm seeing a real trend of people sending us complaints to take something down because someone offended them. It's very fun, and a real ego stroke, to tell them to get lost because we're not censors.

Care to elaborate in what way this is Fair Use? It's been established in court that the length of material stolen is not relevant in determining a violation of copyright law. If you use a second on an hour of someone else's property, you're still using someone else's property.
I hate copyright law as it exists, which is an abomination of the original intent of the concept of copyright. But it's inappropriate to editorialize the law based on what you think the law should be, as opposed to what the law is.

LOL, Beyonce and SonyBMG both have something in common, they have both fallen on their face.
yea beyonce/sasha is a trooper. she does manage to give the greatest perfomances she always has a way of changeing up her dances and the way she comes out so you never see anything twice. she is the perfect role-model for all the young girls who want to become divas.
She falls but manages to sing on like this? Is she probably performing with playback?! Has this been the real reason why YouTube was forced to remove the clip?

You folks that are co-signin that DMCA abuse sh!t aint nothin but haterz. I got nothing but respect for the young lady (and it ain't because she fine az hell either - there are a whole bunch of non singin, no business havin females out there with good looks but no talent in the spolight right now).
Her attempt to have the video or segment with the fall pulled may not have been ethically correct, but I'm willing to bet that the majority of ya'll out there talkin junk about it would have done the same thing had it been you.
Human nature to be embarrased about something like that.
Besides, once she realizes that there is really nothing to be done about it now.... she'll do what we do... just laugh about it and recognize it for what it is... sh!t happens. Still doesn't change who she is...one of our 'greater' female artists.
