http://beerhunter.ca/ is a mashup of Google maps and information on where you can buy beer in Ontario, Canada close to you at the current time -- since our alcohol sales are restricted to government stores, this is an essential tool for a Sunday evening when you need to stock up!

Another site worth mentioning is DrinkingSocial. With over 3.5M users, and ten's of thousands of beers/brewers in the system, DrinkingSocial lets you catalog the beers you have or want to try, share recommendations with your friends, and find/follow other people in the community with similar interests. It is built on the fabric of social networks, and can be used within Facebook, Bebo, and Myspace.
Link your account to LivingSocial, and you can share your beer tastes on whatever social network you prefer.
