That's twice today I've seen a story about Brightkit thinking it was about Brightkite. What a terrible name choice! How long until they change it?

wow I always wnated the ability to send the tweet later. Thanks

Thanks for the great post - really glad you like the service. We've heard great feedback since we launched on Friday and we're working hard and looking forward to rolling out new features over the coming weeks.

@Max, yes we do have a similar name to brightkite, but we really do have a very different platform from them - they are a great location based social network platform and if you've not checked them out yet, I highly recommend that you do so.

I just discovered Bright Kite today and now here's Bright Kit. it kinda makes me lose interest in both of them

Wonderful twitting tool. Cool that it allows to manage the multiple twitter accounts. Plus UI looks beautiful. I am looking forward for those features like geo-location tracking, exportable reports, and offering users the ability to reply directly from within the interface. Definitely going to install and to give a try.

BTW, I have just noticed share my comment on tool set here. I like it. :)

    Cool, Thanks,

Wow...this is perfect for any PR professional working w/ two or more different accounts. It's also appears to be both cleaner and functionally superior to a Tweetlater or Twuffer. Nice, can't wait to see how it works for me :)

The closeness of names creates a conversation right there... deliberate perhaps?

I just read the article on Twitter in WSJ yesterday, and this has heightened my interest, in contrast, esp. scheduling tweets and multiple accounts. BrightKit's multiple accounts seems to be a good fit for several niche applications. Hope this leads to more features with time. Good luck, --- imodotcom ---

An update to all those interested in, or currently using BrightKit!

We've just added some new features we've had many requests for, including:
    - Additional Time Zones (Added Asia, Africa, and more...)
    - Added Feeds for Twitter profiles, with the ability to reply inline
    - Added @replies tab
    - and more!

More great features on the way, including custom feeds, DM’s and more detailed stats!

Thanks to everyone for your feedback!

Very slick; I think I like this more than EasyTweets.
You do wonder why they settled on that name, though. (Perhaps they hadn't heard of BrightKite? It's not unthinkable.) Thankfully, "ow.ly" is adorable!

BrightKit did not accept my Twitter logins. I just very quickly and easily added all my accounts to Matt, and it worked fine. I was looking for more features, and I guess I'm still looking. I'll try the other two services you mentioned. Thanks for the info.

Hi Kathleen, thanks for testing BrightKit. We'd love to help you set up all your Twitter profiles - give us a shout at kate AT brightkit DOT com, explaining what happened, and we'll go from there. Thanks!

BrightKit is changing its name! It seems like some people are getting a little confused between BrightKit and BrightKite, the location-based social networking application, so we’ve decided to change our name.

In the spirit of social media, we’ve decided to put it out to you. If you could name BrightKit something else, what would YOU call it? For the rules and details go to our blog: http://ow.ly/3Bo

We are actually changing the name. There's been a bit of confusion with BrightKite and us, but look forward to the new name very soon!

You have totally saved me! Thank you so much for reviewing this service. After having extreme problems with the newly operational su.pr, this is a lifesaver.
