If only it were that simple here in Seattle. While it does rain about 200 days a year, there are at least 12 different variations of rain. Only 2 kinds of rain require an umbrella (or bumbershoot), and one requires an ark. The remaining 9 kinds of precipitation necessitate only some combination of fleece, Gortex and/or a hat.

A fun idea none the less.

Excellent article and insight. I think this is absolutely, 100% the right way to look at things. Another way to phrase it that the successful sites won't give people data, they'll give them the *information* they want.

Hahaha, simplicity can make a fortune..

This reminds me of the FlipFOLD story.
Someone wanted to make folding clothes fun for their children, so they cut up a piece of cardboard, and make a fortune off the idea.
