How would you feel if an email sent through Facebook all of a sudden gets into your email account inbox? That’s alarming right? So when an email from Facebook reminds you that you an email at Facebook, don’t be furious. Facebook is just after your security.

Re: Now Facebook Wants to Own Your Email

If someone sends me a mail from Facebook and I have to have that email address in Facebook's database... and have to receive Spam from Facebook with their applications etc. I'm going to be really upset. Honestly, I'm not a fan of their underground methods of collecting data and (probably) selling it to the highest bidder. They're doing this in a sneaky way, and I'm not happy to support them. If I could, I would delete my account, but we all know that you never really 'delete' your account on Facebook, it just goes into a database where they keep your info and wait for you to come back.

Re: Now Facebook Wants to Own Your Email

I am really not a fan of facebook

Re: Now Facebook Wants to Own Your Email

Ecademy (www.ecademy.com) also sends you the full text of messages if you are a Power Networker. I can't find any direct link to it, but it allows you to create lists of friends. You can then send messages to these lists, which could be handy.

The page is:

http://www.facebook.com/fri...

I'd be interested to know if there is any actually link to this page, or if it is a hidden (at the moment) feature.

Re: Now Facebook Wants to Own Your Email

I don't know why, but I really hope it'll fail.
