Why put Blinkk when there is no files released?
  • Chris · 1 year ago
I also couldn't find, they have a paid version now below the download link.
  • Dave · 1 year ago
Blinkk sounds like it's got everything I'm looking for but it doesn't seem like it's available yet. I tried going to their website but there's no download section. I can't even get a price list. If it's a commercial product, I'd certainly consider buying it, that is if it's currently available.

I think that a great alternative is: http://www.drigg-code.org/
It's very easy to install and is based on Drupal.

    Hi Sean,

    You missed:

    http://meneame.net/faq-es.php

(check question 20 about the license)

May be it is not very well know in the english spoken world but I know at least 5 digg clones in spanish using it.

Yet another useful list from Mashable!
@why, chris & dave - after a bit on online searching, I was able to get in touch with Colin from Blinkk. He directed me to their current website here.

To see it it in actionBandbuzz is built on the earliest version of Blinkk. Based on my initial correspondence with Colin, they've continued growing the platform since then and will soon be launching a developer api. Without getting into the actual bells and whistles yet, I think it sounds promising just based on some of the details Colin mentioned: "besides being super fast, it only has a 1.6 meg disk space foot print, so you could even run it on your laptop or your favorite hosting company . . .It comes with a one click installer that allows you to easily remotely install it or update it from any where, in any hosting arrangement, or if you want we can set up automated updates here."

At any rate, Colin has been super-responsive & made a good first impression. Thought I'd pass along the correct website details for others who may be interested. :-)

Kigg is a proof of concept written using the aspnet mvc framework preview. I just thought it worthy of a mention.
