PerfSpot is great. I have a page there and I dont get any spam at all. Its a lot better than myspace and I get a lot more privacy. You should try it out before making any comments about it.

Over 200 messages all from spammers from turkey or really pervy guys! I've never got so many disgusting and disturbing messages in my life. 100x worse than myspace! GIRLS STAY AWAY!!!!!

If you do your research, you will see that the website traffic must be fake. They barely have any links pointing to the site. I've noticed this site a week ago, and at that time they had 0 links. Can you imagine having so many page views with 0 links? I can't.

PerfSpot is fucking awesome, There are plenty of people from all over the world. Especially from Turkey. And all though there is relatively low page views. It makes the site feel safe & PRIVATE!

One of the great things about the internet is a retards can voice their opinions. Looks like that’s what’s happened here. I joined PerfSpot and the only emails I get are notifications about people sending me messages or wanting to be my friend. There is a link in every single email that lets you turn these off if you want, and it works! This site hasn’t sent me any spam or tried to sell me anything. If you don’t believe me, set up a free hotmail account yourself and only join PerfSpot with it and you’ll see what I mean. One more point to the retards on this board, umm, if you spam your mail doesn’t get into providers like hotmail or yahoo. I tested both and PerfSpot gets into my inbox, not even junk. God you people are dumb.

i work for perfspot and everything is just going crazy with the amount of traffic we are getting. we are really trying to get as many features there as possible. I've seen perfspot.com spamming my content on imeem, multiple users all saying 'hey this site is better than imeem ' - I guess if they spam other sites enough they can say that they've got less spam on their site. Perfspot doesn't even come close to imeem, although, they do have Cat Power featured on their music page which is a huge plus in my book.

They do seem to have quite a few features in their website, but its crazy they can get away with making the profiles completely open to public. Traffic estimates shows 15,999,000 visitors in the last 30 days, while they have a page rank of 3 - crazy. Either it's viral, or spam.

I use PerfSpot myself, and alot of my friends use it too. I think it offers an identity that seperates it from sites like MySpace and Facebook, meanwhile keeping true to the social network structure. When it comes down to it, everyone's going to find things they like, and don't like.
I've been a member of this site for about a year now, and I have been around to witness alot of the changes that have come to pass with it.
The site had a slow start, but now has really taken off, with a multi-dimensional interface of it's own.
Most importantly, a site like this let's me connect with my friends, and stay connected. Thier privacy features allow me to seperate my Close friends, family, and people that I had just met randomly on the internet.
It can use some improvements, sure, but based on what I've been lucky enough to witness, they've been improving thier site just about every week, in both big ways and small.
Let's try and lay off the haterade for the new guys, yeah? They've come a long way, and I don't foresee thier journey ending soon.

I definitely can recommend NOT TO USE PERFSPOT.

This site is sending spam all over the internet, I just got an email claiming to be a dating site I checked it out and I clicked the link and was redirected to their sign up page!!!
I even got spam message through msn! And of course, after making the mistake to become a member, there is no way of deleting my account, and the support keeps ignoring me. Obviously. It's all spam and dickheads. Assholes. Keep away from this shitty site. It is absolutely insane to provide a service, and not offer the ability to the user to delete his account ANY TIME HE WANTS. Huge bastards.
