Flock 2 beta looks pretty good so far. I haven't had any issue but it's true that the Google Reader issue is a bit hidden unless you're a seasoned GR user and know what a OPML format means, I wouldn't have find it out without alonqexe tip. All in all, Flock might not be targeted to pc newbies but to hardcore social media users and those are likely to know that kind of stuff. I'm new to Flock so I'm still enjoying the new stuff, it's refreshing to see an integrated browser like this one. One last thing, the license agreement states that only parts of the project are available as open source: what about the other part? the part that might be tracking our footsteps through the internet?

2 weeks after using Firefox 3, i switched to Flock. And yeah, at first i had troubles to make it read my Google Reader, but then i figured out how to do it.

In order to import the feeds, it needs an OPML file. So, i exported my GoogleReader feeds, but i ended up having an XML file instead of OPML. Then, i just change the extension from .XML to .OPML and later, let Flock import the feed by from the OPML file. And it works!

del.icio.us support is built in, you don't need a plugin. Log in to del.icio.us from Flock, and it will prompt you to set it up as your 'online bookmarks' - they'll show up in the favorites menu and sidebar, and the 'star' tool will let you save a bookmark to local and/or del.icio.us.

I've been a flocker for a year now and I most say I'm really impressed with the browser.

It's a lot more stable than FF2 and with Flock 2 built on FF3 it runs even faster.

The support is great too. If I tweet about a Flock problem, someone contacts me and helps me out.

You must try Flock!

@Eric haven't tried 2.0 yet, but you can sync delicious with your favorites in 1.0.

I am hooked on Flock and hope the new version lives up to the hype. I participate on Twitter and Facebook much more since it is so easy to keep updated with the side bar and navigate to relevant pages with new content.

I tried it out too. I concur that it is slow. I couldn't find an plugins for myspace on Flock or Firefox.

Its cool that you can have a one stop place to do all this. However sometimes it gets a little over whelming like FriendFeed, plus you lose the functions of the website.

For instance, you can upload to Flickr, but you lose the feature of organizing the batches, or photo editing, and more.

I guess I'm too old school. I like going to the websites, checking out the designs, using the functions on their site.

I'm a full time Flockstar now. Firefox froze up my computer a LOT. Not so much with Flock.

Most useful feature: adaptable search bars. I can use the search engines of my favorite sites. Very time saving.

I had a couple problems with some of the new Flock features: my AOL never shows any new incoming mail, and when I go to Digg, I can't view the comments unless I refresh the page each time!

Other than that, I've enjoyed everything about the Flock browser,and cant' wait to see where it goes from here!

After seeing Flock mentioned a couple times on your site, I'll definitely check it out tonight.

I did notice that they don't have a del.icio.us plugin (yet?), and that's one of my Firefox mainstays, but hopefully that's in the works. If nothing else, I'm sure they'll have something similar...

Flock sounds like it kicks ass. Haven't downloaded but, based on your write up will check it out tonight. So, you have your Twitter responses updating every 5 sec, blog comments, digg, pownce, hmmmm nice!

So, Maybe not on the Google reader feeds? that would really kinda wrap it all up.

Anyway, the new "AOL with a 2008 web 2.0 twist" huh, interesting
