What startle or surprise me is "Where the heck are all the comments!"
Posts are very random and it doesn't seem like people are very involved in this blog...

Apart from he design styles and the color scheme I dont think they have incorporated any features. Not sure what Google is planning to do with SocialStream.
However the success for Orkut lies in incorporating these features.
