It's certainly worth more than $31 a share.

Re: Yahoo! They will be bought by Microsoft if Microsoft wishes it. Anyone who thinks Yahoo will only go for $41 ps is in just as much a fantasy world as those who thought this initial offer would go through uncontested by Yahoo. The board is doing what they are supposed to do: maximize value to the shareholders. This way, in the event MS goes hostile they will have secured a better price since MS will have to push up the stock to buy a controlling share. And, if MS is willing to push up the price in their formal offer, Yahoo's board still has won a minor victory in shareholder value. That is, of course, assuming MS hasn't already gone hostile over the past year since their last offer and bought small undeclared amounts of Yahoo shares from many shell companies...I know it's a stretch but it has been done before by lesser men.

Re: Yahoo! Microsoft bought a small chunk of Facebook a few months ago. This weee chunk got Facebook a valuation of 15 BILLION. At the time I believe Facebook reported earnings of less than 10% of what Yahoo does. Do the math. I agree with Yahoo. Let's talk about 100 Billion Bill, then maybe we have a deal.

Re: Yahoo!
