Hi,

Well done Scott! That is brilliant! I love your name The Digital Dickens.

I am curious to know how Scott marketed his podcasts? Did he do it on social networking sites? How did he market and promote and find such a following?

You mention it a few times in your interview and am just very curious about that side of it?

I love Michael Crichton, I thought Jurassic Park was so good I refused to see the movie.

Without having listened to it yet, Scott's story really is an interesting one and should be carefully watched by anyone wanting to generate buzz.

Having been involved in Podcasting since early on, I have seen him not only take the home market by his marketing efforts, but also the _outside_ as in international market. Others where able to profit from his efforts as well.

Just one example - I remember him sending out messages to German podcast mailing lists and making sure everyone would know about him. Companies wanting to earn money until today don't understand how or why to do it.

And while I personally can't stand his genre - sorry Scott ;) - everybody should take notice on how to generate this kind of buzz. They will not be able to copy it 1:1 but it is a good learning piece and does belongs spot on into this series of interviews.
