I don't get it... is it supposed to be a browser? I added Facebook and Flickr and all it did was open a new tab for each of them. Neither shows up in my SocialU profile. what's the point?

I added Facebook and MySpace and were just taken to the web page...not sure what this should be doing, or what I should be getting out of this?

Yea, that was my first impression as well. "It's just a browser?" But if you dig deeper there's more to it. Look at the bottom and you will see a pop up panel that lets you comment on any page and share it or save it. I think SocialBrowse does that better by the way.
Go to the community and market pages at the top. I had hoped they would've had a messaging aggregator to create this centralized social networking inbox like fuser.com does but no such luck.
If this came out before Flock or even the first browser with multiple tabs it would've been interesting. Being a desktop only app and no mobile access will hurt it too.
I think successful services need to speak several different different languages at the same time such as web, desktop and mobile platforms.

This does look more fresh and less clunky than Flock. However' Flock's got the Mozilla engine which is usable with a lot of useful add-ons.
I'm all for creative social networking sites. I set up an account here, gave it a shot. It's, how do I put it, a bit odd? I guess I don't really understand what I'm supposed to do. Is this supposed to be like a virtual world without weird movable people? I'd love to see what more people do with an experience like this.
